If you're going to spend three grand on a brand new oem engine you might as well get a built one for that much. I'd check out the junk yards first. Pull a good used engine with low miles if you can find one.

You get what you pay for though, I like the peace of mind knowing its brand new and Its never been driven hard exept from me. I also got a 100k mile warentee so if I have the slightest problem I just take it to ford and they fix it. Ford also threw in a few other parts that i needed to make the swap happen seeing I was putting it in a 98 gt.

Yeah thats what most people are saying is to just drive it.. I just dont want to throw that 1300.00 away that I have spent over the past two weeks trying to fix whatever this damn problem is......
I am a female so I am not up to speed on Repairing a car... Say they replace all 8 Lash Adjuster's Shouldn't the noise go away immediately? I turned the car over & the noise isnt there??? Then it sounded like it was by my feet but a very FAINT sound not near as loud as it was..... Love my car But I am starting to hate the damn thing.. Dont guess I can complain to much had it since 02 brand new & just had to replace battery & all this crap... |

Iam going to check out Modular Mustang Racing...
Which would be best bet... Rebuild, New Enigine, Junk Yard ??? I am kinda nervous about driving it & tearing up more than I have to.... Could it be the throw out bearing? It has the original clutch in it 123k Miles |

umm if you have the money .. i dont know your financial situation but mmr has pre assembled short blocks. or you can get a long block and just swap them out.. alot less work on your part. but if your not mechanicly savy then even that will be a chore. are you looking to do this yourself? or have a shop do it for you?
