I personally wouldn't push 500-515hp at the crank. Just to be on the safe side.

Well me, on my Cobra, I plan on going like 475 at the crank. I don't have the money for a rebuild so I'm playing it really safe.

You're both probably talking in two different terms. Lefty talking crank and OP talking RWHP. 450RWHP on the stock motor should be your stopping point. People have done more and blown the motor and people have done less and blown their motor. But the majority of people will say keep it below 450rwhp.

Turbos are less stress on the motors that a supercharger is, so i wouldnt go over 500 rwhp. Weakest link is the rods. I would probably push no more than 9-10 psi.

I think most shops with good knowledge of our cars will not push your car for any more than 450Rwhp. I was talking to the shop that has been doing the work on my car and without a built engine they will not go over 450 even if I beg. Hope that helps, good luck and have fun with whatever Hp you choose.

To be extra safe don't push it past 400 to the wheels. Why chance blowing your engine for an extra 50 hp.

450rwhp is 450RWHP no matter supercharger or turbo or if you hook a leaf blower to your intake. I strongly believe that its how the car was taking care of before you slaped a blower on there that determines that point of breakage. ie. oil changes, how often you beat on it, how many miles, etc. but 450rwhp on stock internals is pushing the limit in my opinion. but thats just me. i wouldnt push no more than 380-400rwhp til i forged my internals. good luck with your build and hope to see the finish product.

Turbo Kits for Ford Mustangs found that company couple days ago...good prices, but i've never heard anything good or bad about them...it's a 70 trim single turbo kit for 1800 bux but you need tubular front and fuel system on top of that
