245's on 17x9's? 275's on 17x10.5's?
Is that too narrow of a tire for a 17x9? The only other option is a 275/40, but I'm getting that for the back wheel which is 17x10.5?

it can fit but looks way to narrow. almost like stretching. best size for a 9'' is a 275 and a 10.5'' is a 315

well the tires I want don't come in 315's, damn, maybe I should just get 17x9's all around.
the only options I'm seeing for 315's under $200 are nitto drags, and sumitomo htrz which i've heard are shit. lots more options in 275's |

I say wide front tire pulls too much, if you're around nasty roads I'd keep that in mind. I run 245's on 9" wheels in front and wish mine wern't even that wide, they look great though.

Go with 315's for the rear. I made the mistake of 275's at first and this is what it looked like on my 10.5's. I now have the 315 nitto's in back and 275 on my 18X9's up front

Yah, this was like 3 years ago but I got it from the shop and I looked down at the rim and was like WTF. There was this atrocious gap/lip where the tire didnt quite fill the rim all the way.

I wouldn't believe all the hipe, I had sumitomo's on my car a couple of years ago & they were fine, I would buy them again with no problem (as a matter of fact I have them on the front of my car now, nitto d/r on the rear though)

My factory rims are 17x9,factory tire size was 245/45/17. Largest recomended size was 275/40/17 which I have(on rear) and looks good.
