Worn Cam Lobe

So its looking like I have a worn cam lobe on the passenger side cam. Questions bsaicly are 1) how much does it cost to have a cam reground?
2) would I be better off having my cam reground, buying one new stock cam, or buying a set of after market cams(probably Hitech)?

New stock cams are not that expensive, depending on which engine.

you could also get used oem ones from someone who has swapped out for aftermarket ones. post a WTB thread and see what happens. i would just get new aftermarket since your going to be doing the job.

^^ If youre interested in doing something like that let me know. Ive got a pair with about 60k miles on them, original owner car, very rarely seen wot, oil always changed on time etc. Maybe we can work something out.
