Fuel Rails
how restrictive our the stock fuel rails? is there any need to upgrade them to reach the 600hp mark? and has an one ever heard of these
Fore Precision Works Billet Fuel Rails Available NOW for the 1996-2004 Mustang GT with PI (performance improvement) intake manifolds. Designed specifically for the 1996-2004 Mustang GTs, these are the finest fuel rails available. -OEM positioning, orientation, and size of o-ring seats for injectors. -Robust integrated mounts for safe and reliable injector seating. Stainless steel mounting hardware included. -FRPS bank includes a 1/8" NPT fitting for remote fuel pressure sending units for in car fuel pressure gauges. Optional block-off available for return style systems. -SAE o-ring boss ports (-8 size) on front and back of both rails. -These fuel rails are machined from 6061-T6511 from a solid block of aluminum. fore makes some badd ass products. stock rails have seen 600hp, but if you have enough $$$ to make that power then what is another couple hundred on a set of rails?

Fuel lines are a restriction before the fuel rails.

but you would think with the larger bore you would have more fuel availible for the injectors and the pump wouldnt have to work as hard to keep the pressure stable? i dunno just my thought process

Werd. Those rails are very sweet looking. If i were you i would do the wire upgrade for the fuel pumps. That should get you another 5% DC out of the pumps, and is cheap. ( should have mentioned that in the other thread).

Its where you run some 8 gauge to the FPDM with a relay, and some 10-8 guage from the FPDM to the fuel pump.

some places sell kits, but sweet2kstang did a great write up here. you can buy this stuff from stereo stores / auto parts stores.
