longtubes are done!
sounds like sex. mac lt's, o/r h, and flows out the back. i think i successfully installed it with no leaks, so thats good. the car drives straight and the steering wheel is centered, so it looks like that k-member is done properly. i'm excited, tomorrow morning my o2 extensions get here so i can actually hook them up and drive it. i took it around the block once but i can't get on it till those o2 sensors are on! i'll try to get a vid asap, and i should be getting dyno numbers on the 21st as well!

maybe next year. i might leave the stang and build the ranchero into a badass race car.. i'm still up in the air at this point. the stang is already getting to the point where its turning into a racecar and i want to be able to have a reliable car to drive.. anything more and i'll be dumping a ton of money into it, its pretty much maxxed out except for gears and axles. otherwise i'll be doing heads, cams, and forged.. thats a lot of $$

disconnect 8 bolts hold the k-member in place engine mount nuts k-member brace disconnect steering disconnect struts brake lines abs lines powersteering cooler lines remove swaybar pull k-member remove midpipe remove manifolds remove starter remove pass side motor mount switch o2 sensors back over to new headers/mid pipe install and torque new headers reverse all previous steps plus bleeding the brakes and filling p/s fluid and everything i didn't list here that i forgot.. its a pretty big project man

It's a huge pain in the balls. headers through exhaust on mine was the first thing I've ever done to a car. But... it's well worth the bloody knuckles and angry words : D

i'm seriously jealous. i had a set of bbk longtubes and o/r h to put on my car but i decided that buying a house was a bigger priority than getting headers for my car.
