Missing....again


I had a missing problem in the upper rpms a few weeks ago changed spark plugs probelm solved...Now i have a miss in the lower rpms but it doesnt do it all the time. Sometimes i get lucky and it wont and sometimes it just goes away. Fuel filter is pretty new Coil packs have 50k on them. Any ideas?

are the plugs tightened down properly and fully in the heads....aka held in by all 3 threads?

check and make sure the coil packs are in the right spots i no that wud definaly do it

It just sucks that i cant figure this out. What about o2 sensors? Its weird that its just certain times that it does it.

Check the coils. Even though they have 50k miles check them anyways.

@OP: ^^^ I'm with these guys. Plugs, cops, you can check o2's but I doubt that's the culprit.

So my coil boots were messed up pretty bad and water was getting down into a few of the cylinders. I already ordered new boots. Is there any other way to keep water from getting down there?

nice job with finding the problem. I would assume who ever replaved the coils tore them up a lil on the install

I would thnk a bead of silicon on the outside of the boot at the top outer edge may help
