Replacing my Cobra SVO 900 Hood

My Cobra SVO 900 hood got f'ed up, so I thought it was going to be repaired, but the insurance company is going to replace it. I'm going to order a new one and they will reimburse me for the cost.

I'm thinking, there are a lot of other hoods available on abcexclusive.com, should I consider getting something else?

Check out the site and let me know what you guys think.

Ford Mustang and Trucks Auto Parts Manufacturer Expert: Hoods, Wings, Ground Effect Kits, Lights, Styling Bars and Much More

Click on Hoods, then '99-04. I've got the SVO 900 hood.

I really like the one I currently have. Also, the new one that will come from ABC will already have the hood scoop cut out with a mesh insert.

It's all up to you. It's your car, your choice as to what type of hood you want

2.5-4 in. (as to taste) cowl. I'm not to into the one you have now, sorry. & as to the company you mentioned can't speak to them but HO Fibertrends make's by far the nicest hood bar none (& yes I've installed a ton of hoods from a bunch of diffrent mfg's) including cervini's.

No offense, but I think the hood you have now is hideous. I think you should go with a 95 R hood. Just my .02

Wow, I didn't think everyone would be against my hood. I personally like it, a big reason being I have yet to meet another Mustang owner that has it. Only seen one other car on here that has it.

IMO the car would look better with a regular cowl hood.
