Vortech 6 Rib 3 1/2 Idler Pulley
After crashing my first Bullitt I took the blower off. Well, in the process I must have missed taking off the 6 rib 3 1/2 idler pulley. Now I'm short that pulley for my install. I can get one from superchargersonline.com for $56 plus shipping. My question is will any 6 rib 3 1/2 idler pulley work from an auto store? I really want to put this on this weekend and don't want to shell out the money for Vortech's pulley plus shipping it here to install it by this weekend. Any thoughts?

I dont see why not. Its an idler pulley so it shouldnt really matter. Dont take my advice cause i have no clue what could happen besides it breaking.

Yeah, I don't need it to break. I'm poor as it is, I don't need any added expense on top of what I have to shell out right now.

From what I can tell by looking at mine it does indeed look like nothing more than a regular ole 3.5" 6 rib idler pulley. No guarantee though.

To me it wouldn't be any different either. The crank, water pump, and alternator pullies are not moving at all so the belt alignment should all be the same if I just go with a 3 1/2 pulley. At least that's what I hope.

Alright folks, I said f it and I went and ordered the part from superchargers online and paid for 2 day which wasn't too bad for a 2 day shipment. If all goes well I'll be driving my Vortech SQ-Trimmed Bullitt!!! F Yeah!!
Mods can close/delete thread if need be.
