to me an off road h-pipe sounds better especialy with flows behind it. the rule of thumb is usually that an x pipe flows best and screams/raspy and h-pipe flows well but its deeper and more of a muscle car sound. i have an off road x pipe on my car and ive had second thoughts on buying it because i prefer the sound of the h but i decided to go with the better flow...

to each is thier own taste....

I have a MAC catback too and have been contemplating a midpipe.....

Consider a Mac Prochamber too. Look it up. I've heard it sounds really nice.

Deep like an H-pipe, not too much rasp. And its not supposed to be SUPER LOUD, or at least not as loud as an X. I dunno what you want but, thats how it is. And it gives the best power gains out of other midpipes.

I have the mac cat back as well and mac long tube headers and I put the bbk o/r x-pipe on mine. It is louder and raspier. It sounds freakin mean you can ask my gf she gets mad everytime i rev it up.
