Running like S**T

The car has no power through the power band at all, feels like traction control is kicking in(when it takes power away to stop spinning) durring normal driving, acceleration, deceleration it backfires every now and then. About a month ago it started back firing loud as hell when I go to start it, sometimes it takes a couple tries to start it. I use 92 fuel, my diablo was showing a cam position sensor code, so I replaced that, didnt fix it obviously. The only other code was a minor exhaust leak. Seems to do this the worst after I wash it but recently its doing it constantly. Thanks for any help.

Yea I guess you could call it that, the only way I could think of describing it is when your TC kicks in and it feels like it cuts the power

I pulled them all off around christmas and tried to clean them best I could, I didnt notice any cracking or excessive wear on the boots or the actual wires. I have also replace the fuel filter not too long ago thinking that was maybe the problem.

Well I have heard somewhere that our cop's are notorious for getting water in them after a wash or rain or whatever. Never really knew if it was true, but that seemed to be the case but it started throwing a few new wierd things at me. Thats what Im trying to do, did plugs, fuel filter, MAF, Cam sensor, and a few other small things trying a little trial and error. Nothing has seemed to work yet.

Have you checked the coils with a dmm/volt meter/multimeter rather than just visually inspecting them?

Late December, I started doing all of this before hand though. One thing is after the tune is when the back firing started when trying to start the car.

Seems like you covered all the basics other than checking the coils. Check them and see how they are and then go from there.
