Is There a big Diference between K&N Cold Air and Plain K&N Filter?
My First post but I havent seen this on here yet.. I just bought my stang and it came with a K&N... You guys think it would be worth it to upgrade to the entire Cold Air?

$ - power ratio no it is not worth it but it seems like the cool thing to do.. just keep the filter and save the 200+ bucks for something more worth the while

i agree with unix (not only bc he is the man) but if u already have a 50$ k&n in there than it is flowing better than stock, just use the 200 on diff mods like a midpipe or something and then eventually upgrade to a CAI when u have the extra cash and dont know what to spend it on. my JLT was a gift so i really didnt have to worry about buying one

I wouldnt waste the money. The drop in filter will be plenty fine for now. Theres a lot more useful things you could spend the $200 on.

For $200 you could buy your gears. Install would cost more, but you could get gears at least. I'm with UNIX and the other guys. Get something else better. The MGW is the best shifter in the world.
