Dyno Tune at Dyno Tuned Performance
Just got mine NA GT with mild bolt ons tuned at Dyno Tuned Performance DTP - Hampton Roads Auto Performance Center - Welcome to DTP Racing.com . Don’t let anyone tell you that a dyno tune with mild bolt ons are a waste of time and money. I got more bang for the buck HP from the Dyno tune than all other mods. With my mods listed in Sig I went from
Base 240 HP 258 TQ Diablo performance tune 235 HP 275 TQ Dyno Tune 259 HP 281 TQ Max gain +89 HP and 160 TQ at 3K RPM and +55 HP and 160 TQ at 5700 RPM Picked up 19 HP & 23 TQ over base and 24 HP & 6 TQ over caned tune at the peak. I actually lost 5 HP with Diablo canned tune but Brent said that was because I was running way lean due to C&L MAF. I guess the reason I thought the Diablo Performance tune was so good by my SOTP meter was the 17 TQ that I picked up over stock. Base and Diablo performance tune HP and TQ dropped off drastically after 5200 RPM. Dyno Tune curve started 89 HP & 160 TQ higher at 3K RPM and maintained the peek until 5700 RPM. Dyno Tune maintained over 250 HP from 4800 to 5700 RPM and maintained over 250 TQ from 3300 to 5400 RPM with a gradual drop off thru 5700.

Brent is the man! Took his time and did it right. Did not rape me on the Price either. I do not think a mail order tune would be any better than Diablo tune.

Yep, Brent has done great work for me. When I was on the dyno yesterday my fuel pressure was all over the place down in the lower RPMs. I still have a little bit of something going on, but he cleared it up pretty good. I'm going to call him up today if I can get a hold of him and see if I can't just data log some info for him while driving around and see if he can determine what's going on. Other than that it's running strong!

$220 first hour and $110 after that he spent about 3 hours total since it was so far out and I only paid $330

Brent did an awesome job on my car. I just neded something better than what I had because of all the detonation. For only a JLT CAI, Magnapacks, and my SCT. Put down 231.4 rwhp and 260 tq. Not bad for extremely mild mods, but those with my 4.10s made the car seem like a new car.

I am glade I made the decision to go with DTP Racing I was debating on JPC racing out of Glen Bernie but they wanted $450 just to strap in on the dyno and get started. No one knows mustangs better but I made the right decision with Brent. If I get CAMs and Heads installed that is where I am going.
