oh man i know what you guys mean about the huge adrenaline rush when you see a cop while going WAY too fast. a couple months ago i was driving my other car (1967 Ford Ranchero) i was going 105 trying to catch up to my friend because i got stuck behind a truck for a few miles. as i was going full speed there was a State patrol on the opposite side of the freeway radaring.. he was faced towards me, so he slammed his car in reverse, backed up the on-ramp. i could see him going over the overpass to get onto my side of the freeway in my mirror. i did not slow down, i just kept going. i was lucky enough that there was pretty heavy traffic behind me where the cop was, i was all by myself sticking out like a sore thumb when he clocked me. i got off on the next exit and immediately turned onto a back road. he must have kept going on the freeway cause he never found me. i was shaking like a dog trying to shit broken glass for at least 20 minutes after that happened. needless to say i havent been in the mood to speed for the last few months..

There's nothing quite like it! Especially once you get home and have time to think about the whole thing from the safety of your home. LOL

Hells yeah, I hear yah. I grew up in Michigan... where radar detectors are allowed, the speed limits are higher, and vehicle inspections/stickers aren't required... I move to VA and see all this shit for the first time. Luckily, I'm still able to register my cars in MI while living in VA, but I still have to deal with the bullshit speed limits here and the reckless driving laws.
