could possibly be a bad headlight switch also, in my 91 ranger the same thing happend to me. i ended up junking the truck before i ever found out what the problem could have been, my guess would be a bad ground or something

I keep rechecking for fuses because that seems to be what everyone suggests. My radio will come on just fine. I go back and trace every wire to see if its grounding. I think I will look for the headlight switch.. Is the headlight switch behind the knob?

does the radio display come on? how about the ac/heater control backlights? those all are usually on the same circuit. Idont know a whole lotaboutthewireingon the newer ones but i know my old fox had quite a few fuseable links. could be one of them that is bad, and those are almost impossible to find withouta service manual. good luck with it.

Yeah the radio works fine. The A/C backlights and speedo backlights don't come on at all. The HIDs come on fine and the turn signals, brake lights, and hazards work fine.. BUT the running lights for night don't work either. =[[[[[ hoping my friend can figure it out he is a mechanic so I'm gonna run it to his shop. I will let yall know how it comes out.

you talking about the fog lights? are those the ones not coming on? Pics would be nice of the interior (including the radio and shifter assembly) plus exterior pics.

Have you tried pushing the fog light button on the interior

Problem was solved. The guys at ATI figured out that it was indeed the headlight switch. It wasn't physically damaged I guess just internally fried it. I'll be replacing that for $8.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and help!
