Check Engine Light

So my check engine light has been on ever since I tuned my car, and before that because i had no cats. But when i plug in my tuner and want to find trouble codes, i get NOTHING. i have the check light on, but no code. idk. Could it be the intake i have somehow? I've heard certain intakes aren't compatible with diablosports. also i've heard messing with the MAF and moving it might make the light go off. but even if, theres no code....? anyone else had this problem or know what it could be??? I'm so sick of that light.

I always have my check engine light on. Don't worry about it.

It's just startin to bug me tho. im hoping i can get it off. i know guys who will pass me for smog even tho i dont have cats...will this get in the way?

Mine stays on because of the catless midpipe(o2 sensors). Have you installed simulators? could just be old codes from the o2 sensor.

no, the tuner has all that crap turned off for ur 02 sensors so that it won't set off your light. even if that was the case, it would come up under trouble codes. i get no codes.

put something to cover the light, and forget about it...hahaha

The MIL is important, and pulling the bulb, or running with it on all the time is BAD advice!!! Call your tuner and have them fix it.

is it a realitively new predator? the reason I ask is because either predators with the latest upgrade or one's manufactured after early '08 do not support obd II function's in any way (ie. you can't shut off your o2 sensors)

its older. i believe february 07 was when it was bought new by the guy who got it before me.

check & see if it's been upgraded (it should display current version when plugged in) don't remember the current version off hand (mine's almost 4 years old & was smart enough not to upgrade) but you should be able to find it (current version) on their web site or just call their tech line. if it's been upgraded, your screwed.
