stalling problem i need help

Ok so i have been trying to figure out was it wrong with my 99 gt. when i come to a stop at a light or even in my driveway the car wants and does stall. some times it hesitates when accelerating. I have replaced the IAC, the egr is working good, new plugs, new fuel filter, i put long tube headers on it and mil eliminators on the 2nd set of o2 sensors. problem existed on a smaller scale before the headers. by the way it is a 5 speed. plz help me any ideas would be great. also forgot to add that when i come to a stop if it doesnt die with still idles erratically from a range of almost dying to revving up to almost 1500 rpm

Have you tried checking the coils with a dvom? Seems like youve covered all/most of the basics besides that. Also do you have a tune for your long tubes? Some people have had issues after putting on long tubes w/o a tune.

MAF?

But maf would cause it to run shitty all the time...But it's a thought.

I have seen this problem before and it turned out to be a bad manifold air pressure sensor or MAP sensor for short. It wasnt on a mustang though but if all else fails try that one.

I had a simular problem I broke down and took it to the dealer after weeks of not figuring it out. The dealer told me there was a technical service bulletin on the same problem. they said something was wrong with the ecu and had to be reflashed. they did it and it helped. but i later found out my problem was from my cdc shaker adding turbulence through the maf and makin it think there was a bunch of air goin through when threre reall wasnt.

yeah but i would check the TSB's and see if that one applies to your car. it might be the problem. unless you have a cdc shaker setup, then i could tell you exactly how to fix it lol.

My '03 GT did this completely stock. My Mach has done it since I got the K&N. Pisses me off. I'm just used to it and can keep it from stalling. *kicks car*

I hate my car today, just FYI.

FUCK IT.

Up it's ass.

my shaker setup didnt have the "baffel" in the airbox where the shaker tube comes in. so it forced the air through the drop in k&n i have and made turbulence past the maf. i had talked to many tuners before finding this out. I made a small baffel and all is good.

when my car does it, its always a vacum line. its always been either the iac or left side pcv hose was off or almost off.

that is what i am talking about. that is the drivers side pcv, and if leaking, it will cause the issue you talking about.
