Underdrive Pullies?

Really worth it? Make any noticeable difference? If so what brand?

I have ASP Underdrive's and I love them. It is a piggyback style crank pulley. I was able to notice an increase in bottom end torque and she seemed to pull a litte better up top. Just my .02

ok i just looked a little closer and steeda clames 8-10 horse gain, but bbk claims 10-15 horse gain and there high polished aluminum which is nice for 150.00 shipped, while steeda pullies are plain black billit steel and will run you 199.95 shipped. my opinion bbk looks like a winner. the asp pullies is that auto specialities company? if so there mighty steep! and there made of steel aluminum would be lighter right?

UDP dont "add" hp, it just frees hp. I say every little thing counts. I have Steeda. Stay away from BBK because they are piggy back pullies. The bolts are known to break and can cause the engine to seize up. Steeda are the only company that i know that doesnt make piggy back pullies. They are worth it to me. No point in going cheap here. Here is how it feels. Turn your a/c on max then race the car... then turn it off and race again. Notice the difference? Its minimal but its there. Do it.

well from what has been said before. the 4.6 is internally balanced and theoretically doesnt need the external dampner. Its just used to dampen any extra vibration. but I got the bbk's and as long as you make sure the dampner is on there good and flush with no wobbleing and use lok tight you'll be alright.

The real gains are around 2 - 4 HP. Nothing more. Just like with the advertisements for K&N CAI's. $200 for a 2 or 4 HP "gain" is a blatant waste of money. You will feel zero SOTP gains from this mod.

Save your money for something else : D
