what are some good cheap suspension mods for the twisties?
i was talking with my fiance's father today and he said that the best time he had at the track was at limerock connecticut on the circuit tracks. he recommended that i try it out one day. he was running an old gt500, the only suspension mod he did was a sway bay. what should i do to my car to make it better for this track? i dont want to go nuts........

C/C plates, strut tower bar front and rear, springs, bumpsteer kit. My car handles like a champ after all of those goodies, it used to have mad oversteer...now it is balanced pretty well with a bit of understeer. Im pretty sure it would get the job done at a track.

Tires, while not cheap, the right tire always matters.

Definition: Bumpsteer is a change in toe* angle caused by the suspension moving up or down. Bumpsteer is built into the geometry of the suspension and steering system, and has nothing to do with turning the steering wheel. The effect of bumpsteer is for the wheel to toe-in or toe-out when the suspension moves up or down. This toe change or “steering” occurs any time the suspension moves, whether it is from body roll, brake-dive, or hitting a bump in the road. Bumpsteer is undesirable because the suspension is steering the car instead of the driver

subframe connectors, lowering springs, CC plates, and bumpsteer will make a huge difference. tires make a huge difference as well.
