? on the tork tech manifold..

Ive been wandering this for awhile if you were to get this and had a motor that could support it you can use any supercharger that a cobra can rite? I think it would be interesting to see a 2v with a kenne bell 2.8 or a nice sized whipple.. This idea just ran through my head lol..

i woulod imagine so since the superchargerless kit is to use the cobra eaton on it. so i would think anything that could bolt onto a cobra could bolt to the manifold

depends on the upper intake bolt pattern. I am sure the torq tech is different and when adding a whipple or something I would think you would have to change upper also

The bolt pattern on the eaton M112 (stock cobra s/c) is the same as the kenne bell or whipple. So yes, you can use the tork tech manifold

On the Upper? I know the discharge ports are different so I would assume so would the upper?

Yeah, the upper is the same on all of them. The only problem that i could see might happen is the some of the pieces within the tork tech manifold. But stuff like that can be fixed up with a little custom job

Personally i wouldn't go with the tork tech. It's really expensive you would be better off just buying a kit made for our cars

A little insight, I have talked to Charles Warner, the mechanical engineer for Tork Tech, quite a bit lately. He is currently putting a drive system together for my Roush and he said in passing that one of his Tork Tech Eaton kits are playing with 600 rwhp. Its a ported job with some cams and exhaust. He said he thought there was room for more, so dont right off Tork Tech yet. I agree though, the manifold is super expensive, he siad that he wished it was cheaper as well, but thats the price of progress.

Especially with some cams, and the new Trick-Flow heads(when they finally come out), but I have thought the same thing.

The Trickflow heads for 4.6 are now listed on the Summit web-site, however they show a projected ship date of 5/1/09.
