remove badge

so anyone ever remove the blue oval on the trunk? Mine is an eyesore now...i would like to replace it with something else... anyone ????

Well the color and wording has faded so you cant even read it now. Weird I know!!! I am going to buy the 2" X 2" square that reads "stang" that should cover the hole, i just didnt understand how to get to the backside if it was bolted.

get a blow dryer and take the blue our of the oval and leave it chrome, looks clean

all the emblems should have guides at least mine did although i did not have to take off the oval. and yea the common fishing line and hair dryer will work perfect. also i have seen the remove the blue in the oval before it dont look too bad wouldnt be a bad idea if there proves to be a guide hole.

There will be 2 tabs that stick out and go into the trunk lid. No bolts hold it on, just duoble sided tape. I got mine off when I got a new trunk lid put on (damn tree), and put it on my sub box that I still need to put in.

Dude autozone.....Sticker Shock...comes right off.....go to ebay and look for some badges they even sell some stickers that go over the badge that read "Fast" written just like the "ford" is written.

i like the emblem i think it would look pretty cool. and even though it looks similar to a roush and steeda mix its not so your not putting a badge on that tells lies like my car did when i bought it. damn car had cobra emblems on it its a gt btw so you know i had to change that back to gt
