Replacement wheel suggestions???

I think I have a bad or not round wheel on my 03 GT convertible. It came stock with what I believe is the "anthracite" bullit style wheels (Sorry if it's not the right term). I was looking to maybe buy a new wheel, not necessarily from Ford ($$$$$$). Anyone have luck with any aftermarket wheels that match fairly close? And how much were they?

If you have stock wheels you should buy 2 deep dish bullitts from AM and put them in the rear, it will solve your problem while making your car look TITS.......

I've been on Craigslist alot. The problem is I live in Washington. The only thing for sale on Craigslist is Toyota Prius parts, hookers, and umbrellas. 2 for $100 sounds like a good deal.

You could also check with your local wheel shops for a wheel repair shop. We have a couple here that can repair even the most screwed up wheels.

Are you CERTAIN it's the wheel?

I've had a bent axle before and thought it was the wheel : )

Cross your fingers if you do order the dd wheels from AM. They didn't match mine so I ended up buying two for the front also. Mine will be going in the classified section shortly as soon I can clean them up and take some pics. They won't be 100 bucks though. They have Goodyear F1 all seasons on them with half (at least) life left on them. I think you will be fine with AM's if the person that told me they changed in 03 was right.

I'm pretty sure it's the wheel. I rotated the "suspect" wheel to the back and the vibration followed it. When it was up front, the steering wheel would shake like hell. Also, went from the stock Good Year tires when I bought it to some Kumho's. So, I'm fairly confident it's not the tires.

Is it a PITA to try and diagnose a bent axle?
