Hi-jacked.....

Back to the topic. I've heard from everyone I've spoken with lately that you need to have an adjustable timing gear if you are running alot of duration, but I'm still not sure how to dial in two seperate cams. I'm going to have to get a how-to video or something. If these are anything like their other products, they should be quality products.

And well hi-jacked! I too am worried about oil leaking form the V/C. But being old school I sprayed the gasket with some copper coat, on the non sticky side. It use to help on my 390. Having a new motor to work on out of the car made them no fuss to install but I dropped one of those little washer Mo-fos and could not find it. So I resinged myself to tearing the motor down to look for it. covered the motor and as I pushed it into it's cubby hole I found the little Mo-fo on the ground, the god's of racing smilied on me that day.

lol they aren't washers they are compression stops. you press them into the gasket. this is so the gasket wont get sucked out as you torque down on it

Those valve covers are sweet but I could never pay $230 for them. Heck, I felt guilty for dropping $100 on a set of Edelbrock Elite Series valve covers for a SBC I had built once.

lol JUST FYI... the factory replacement stock plastic valve covers from FORD are $130 for passenger side and $119 for driver side. + another $40 for FORD gaskets. Soo if you just so happen to want to purcahse some new ones from ford, look to spend around 300+tax

=)

So an even trade is in your favor. Maybe I should be asking for boot money. <grin>
