Powdercoat my wheels, or buy new???

I purchased my Mustang last Friday, and it had what I thought were 18x8" Mille Miglia Evo 5 wheels, it turns out they are 18x9, enough to stuff a 275, maybe even a 285 tire on the back. I have them for sale locally. How do you guys think they would look if they were powdercoated black? I'm contemplating on just keeping them, powdercoating them, and buying new tires for the back. Please advise...

I think an anthracite color would contrast with the silver nicely and pick up the color of the styling bar.

I had the same dilemma. After searching every powder coating shop, the best price I could find to powder coat was about 80-100 bucks a rim. Buy New!!!

I think you should buy some new rims.. Those are ok but I dont think they are the right rims for the stang.
