Installing suspension tomorrow. questions

Is there anything special i need to know? or any tips?

I have:

H&R SS springs
Tokico D Specs Shocks/Stuts
MM C/C Plates
Steeda X2 Ball Joint
Steeda Bumpsteer
Strut Tower

For the Bumpsteer. Will a shop know how to adjust the bump steer when i get my alignment done? I feel like they might not know how. I was thinking of taking my car to belle tire to get it aligned.

Also on the X2 ball joints, do i have to take the A arms off to install them?

also on the springs. Which way is up? on the rear springs it starts out fat and then narrows? Im assuming fat part goes on the bottom and narrow part is the top. Same for the front springs?

I think thats all the question i have. But any advise or tips is welcome.

thanks

Take your time with the CC plates and do it right....the 4th hole takes a little time but just be patient

Put the springs on the same way the stock ones are. On the front there are two holes on the perch on the arm. The end of the coil covers the first hole and not the second hole. Also, you don't have to remove the calipers, but disconnecting the brake line could cause a little mess, so its 50/50.

ya $540. they look like quality pieces so I was happy. you might want to buy an extra key and leave one in your glovebox.

ok the ball joints were a BITCH.

I only got 1 in so far. and we ripped the damn boot. so we just put the stock boot over the Steeda ones but. God damn, i hope that doesnt happen to the other side.

The Ball joints presses we had didn't fit this kind of ball joint i guess. so we had to impact them out.

C/C plates went smoothly

Just make sure you take your time and do it all correctly. It not worth doing unless you do it right.

The bump steer will be easy to set up and the CC plates as well. You are going to LOVE the way it feels.

Do you have SFC's? If not, you will feel such a MASSIVE difference when you do.

other than that, have fun! the top bolt on the strut it a real PITA. so just take your time.
