Got my cobra pumps/hat.... FINALLY!!! questions tho...
250 bucks str8 from Ford Racing! Im thinking that this will not plug directly up to mine wiring harness. Will it? If not, does anyone know the procedure of splicing what? Any other installation tips will be good also. I plan on throwing this thing in the tank this weekend and wanna know as much as i can before the install. Im sure sweet2k will be in here to help me out

You have to splice. I think my wires were the same color on my car but it's been so long ago.

everything is direct plug in if i remember right. the canister plug was different between mine and the cobra tank.

thats exactly what happened. Manny over at HPP really liked my mods and said to get my fuel system right and then bring it back and he will hook it up. Not only that, i THINK ima throw that 3.2 pulley on.
Anyway, Ok well if it doesnt plug up i guess i will have to just do some thinking and get it done. What about having to take something out of the tank before installing this one? I read that in some other thread.

pay attention when you drop your tank, I am curious whats up with your gt install. esp look to see if the hose was crimped and not "looped".

aight ill do that. Ima do it tomorrow. I specifically remember laying that gates fuel line in their with alot of caution and making it sure it just looped in there. Ill check everything and see what i come up with.
Ive already got my 20 amp BAP hooked up so is it ok to leave it or does it HAVE to be the 40 amp? If i can leave the 20 amp, is it helping or is it just dead weight?

Ive already got a retune from when it was running like shit. Car runs very good now but my tuner said i really needed to get my fuel system up before he went any further with the power. Car runs really good tho but i just want the car to be at its potential.

I never dropped the tank COMPLETELY out before. I think ima drop the entire tank this time. Is it hard to get the neck out. I think it aggravated me before is why i just installed the pump without taking the tank all the way out. Any tips on getting the neck out?

its not that bad. i can drop the tank completely out by myself about 45 minutes or so.
