01 Saleen

I have 2001 Saleen with a kennebell 2.1L. I am pushing around 410RWHP. I was told I could do more but would need buildup. Would I be better to see if I could find a 03/04 motor and swap or buildup my 2v motor? Just opinions needed. Not sure which way to go.

Anyone know where to find a 03/04 motor?

Depends how much power you want and how much you want to spend....You can build a 2V and make ~700ish rwhp without the headaches of swapping to a 4V

Even the 03/04 Cobra motor has it's limits cause of the piston clearances from the factory. If you're gonna go to the trouble of swapping out your 2V motor,why not get a built bottom end then decide on the weather using 2 or 4V topend.

There's a few 2V GT stangs around my area running mid 10's on drag radials with just boost built bottom ends!
