just call promotion and get one of theirs. if you have a guy to build yours, you should be able to just get the parts from promotion.

It's like forging internals of an engine. Same w/ the tranny. Putting stronger parts in it.

I would think the new, stronger parts would be gears, synros, shafts, bearings, forks, sliders etc.

I dunno , that's what I think would be built.

From what I have seen and heard, the input shaft is the weak link in a 3650. The rest of the tranny is fairly strong, not bullit proof by any means, but pretty good nonetheless. The input shaft however, is a POS, thats what is found in the trash most of the time.

the upgrade kit from ford is $899. thats the discount price of 10% over actual cost. plus a couple hundred to put it in.

The syncros aren't the best, same with the forks. But those aren't big break parts unless the driver is jamming gears. The input shaft will break with no more than decent tq. If you're going to biuld, go ahead and do the syncros and forks, it just makes sense. But those parts are mostly broken from driver error, the shaft is something that the motor is going to break without a lot of your help.
