anybody running a supercharger and a open bov?
could'nt really find what i'm looking for , but got a good deal on a turboxs rfl bov, works the same as the bosch recirculating type, but i can run it open...i know some will say it's a no no , because it's venting metered air, but realistically it's only going to make a slighlty richness between shift's ( and it won't be noticable)correct?....that's my experiance with them , as i have run them open on mass metered cars....
any input?..

it should work on the other side as well, with minimal effects, mainly the rich between shifts deal...which you won't even notice anyway...i mainly want it for the sound, if i can;t use it no big deal...i got it cheap enough as to where i can sell it and not loose anything...

i had my set up for almost a year and had no problems with at all, now im exactly positive, but i have an idea on how they work, but a buddy of mine is running a bypass valve on his superchrged pony, and its open for sure because when hes not producing any boost his car sounds like a damn air compressor with a busted hose, sounds kinda sickly actually, anyways, it shouldnt be a problem

a video with a sc car with a bov?....
when i get my rfl, i can post one....it's works identical to the bosch, but i will be capping the retunr and venting mettered air betwwen shift, like i said it's not enough to notice or cause any power loss....i'm just wondering how the car will idle.....see some bovs close hard and don't cause the stubling, but the plastic bov's sometimes flutter....who knows...we'll see...

I just want someone to post blown cars with open atmosphere bypass, so I don't have to search for it.

I'm running my bypass valve directly to atmosphere instead of back into the intake. If you do this make absolutely sure the bypass valve is located before the MAF. The only time that you use all of the air from your supercharger is at WOT. The bypass valve is venting air all of the rest of the time.

I dont have a vid of it. I can prolly make one later though. It just gets old hearing it blowing air all the time. Sounds cool at WOT for about a day. LOL. Just route it back into your intake.
