Custom nitrous switch panel I had made...

Is in the mail headed my way. This was cheap as far as mods go - about the same as taking my wife and kids out to eat - but it's nice eye candy. After browsing around the guy's website a while I found a panel I liked that I knew could be changed into what I wanted. He got it right. This will just fit in the small flat space in front of the shifter to the left of the 12V accessory plug. All the other parts are here, I'm just waiting on this and a pretty day to install the nitrous.

I'd like to give a link to the guy's website if it's ok, White99stang or one of the other mods just let me know.

Thanks, man. Going with switches that aren't hidden opens another can of worms. Namely, what might happen to my car when I only wanted a front end alignment - no pun intended. But parked and locked the shifter boot covers that spot pretty well so it won't be an obvious panel to the casual looker. But for those guys who will drive my car when I drop it off for whatever, Darren threw in a keyed valet switch (power to the switch panel) I get to hide where I please. The key will come out in the ON or OFF position so I can leave it on until I have to leave it with someone I don't want effing with my car then I can turn the panel off. Then they can flip switches till their fingers fall off, the panel will be dead and won't do a thing.

Darren went out of his way to get it like I want it, hopefully I'll get permission to link his website. The price is more than reasonable and he'll make it exactly like you want it.

That's a bottle opener on mine - the OPEN - CLOSE switch. It's momentary up, neutral in the middle, and momentary down. According to the mfg of the bottle opener I bought it's 10 seconds to open and ten seconds to close - kinda slow, but better than having to pull over and pop the trunk to run. Still you'll want to open it when you're in the mood to run and before someone wants to run you. All this happens at the track, of course. Make sure you ask him about the keyed switch, it's a cheap piece of insurance. And his 30 amp relays are dirt cheap. I asked his permission to link his work so he knows I have, just tell him Timber (John) recommended him.

If you and acmillr get him to do something custom for you, put up a pic when ya'll get it - I'd love to see it.
