wow, that sucks but is also a reason to go bigger You sure about the pistons? I would asume it would be the rods??? Either way the result is the same, good luck on the build

WOW, thats impressive. Its been a while since I have seen a piston get blown into the bottom end. I didint see any big holes in the block, maybe you got lucky. What kind hp were you at when she let go?

it wasnt the hp that caused it, it was all the i had shoved in it.

I have an 01bullitt that has 78000 miles on it and I am pulling outthe motor if you are interested.
I am putting a mmr motor in my car.
The motor is in great shape I've only put 1500 miles on the motor in 2 years as it is not a daily driver.
I've put less than 300 miles on it since I've installed the blower.

i am building a motor for it, i have almost everything. the motor didnt really make all that much nosie. hell i was able to start it to drive it on the trailer, well, some what start. it would idle sometimes, but it would die uner any load.

the bummer is that i looked at my jets i had in, looked at the n/x chart, and i was only jetted a little over their 100 shot. 29 degree's of timing really screws things up!

not sure on your set up, i was launching on the bottle with 450rwtq.
