i am guessing the piston broke first. i think it started to come apart, broke a couple small pieces, there are knicks in the head above the valve from some contact, then all hell broke loose. i have everything but a couple misc pieces to build the motor, but didnt count on maybe a new block and heads. i splurged a little on a few extra things and now i might have to return them or sell them

was. it had 96 or 97k very abusive miles. i dont think i could stress enough on how abusive those miles were.

Check craigslist for a block. You can usually get one for pretty cheap if you just want another stock shortblock.

i know of a couple blocks that are readily available. i only missing a few gaskets, head fasteners, and main bearings pretty much before i can have another motor assembled.

Did the part fail from age, or not enough oil in there? lol... I did the same thing to my mower once... But it was 1 cyl, so I knew what happened and when...

it failed because my dumb ass shoved too much timing in the nitrous tune.
