Throttle Body and Plenum?

Is it worth getting? I plan on possibly getting that, a few visual things then saving for a blower. I planned on getting any plenum and a 75mm TB. Will it make a noticable difference? Does it help a lot, i know the stock plenum is really restrictive. Also, what brands? Trickflow and Professional Products are cheaper are they just as good as any other? I know accufab is best but i don't wanna spend $400 lol.

stangsuspension.com click the blowoutsale thing they have an accufab tb for $179. As far as throttle bodies accufab is the only thing id go with. Just bc of all the horror stores of other ones sticking, and for them selling at stangsuspension.com for only $40 or so more than the pp you cant go wrong. As far as the plenum goes just about anything will be fine.

What type of blower are you getting? if it's a twin screw or roots i don't think you need a new accufab/ trick flow plenum.
where will it go???

am i right or wrong?

Np. I donno who has and who hasnt but if you search around in a few of the usual tb/plenum threads youll see people mentioning that theyve had their bbk and pp stick (not that they all do, but it happens). For the plenum you can find c&l's pretty cheap used. I think someone has one in really good shape on corral.net for $75 on the first page or 2 under the modular class. ad section. All in all theyre pretty much the same though with the accufab being the best by little .

As am I. No sticking either.

I am also satisfied with the $200 I saved over going with Accufab.(And by switching to Geico)

I'd save the money for a blower instead. Even with boost i would guess it will increase hp less than 15. Without boost its totally worthless.

They just did a 2v bolt on test in MMFF and they used the bbk 78mm and it showed decent gains on the dyno

yeh if u really want them and have the money id say get em. its a good mod to have but you wont feel a big difference. throttle response is a lot better imo. but i have the accufab 75 and c&l plenum. so what ever. then when u get a blower, you will already have all the other mods.
