I told you that to get a lighter clutch than stock ON A MUSTANG will require a hydraulic system. There is NO WAY AROUND IT, but if you're gonna act all pompous and arrogant about it like you know everything about how our clutch system works and what needs to be done to it then you can go right ahead and fuck your shit up dude.

Adjusters are only needed if you're running a heavy clutch. Anything in the stock - Stage 2 clutch range will be fine on the stock quadrant and pawl assembly.

Mustangs have a long clutch throw. It's cable clutch, you're gonna 'feel' the clutch, if you don't like it go to a hydraulic clutch set up and go through the hassle fo that because it'd require you to drill into the bellhousing, get different tob's, and route a line to pedal assembly for the hydraulic pressure set up.
Dude get the fuck over your self. there are people in this thread saying they have clutches that are lighter then stock and ive searched other threads on adjusters and they all work fine, only person who seems not to be able to get theirs to work is you. i dont go into your threads and jack around so just stay outa mine, i come here for answers not drama and childish name calling

Teh reason is that with that little power, you don't need a high amount of pressure from the plate. And the size of the flywheel (like 8 inches) makes them much much lighter. Over all your looking at SIGNIFCANTLY LESS amount of material, so its easier to move.

That makes since. so another way to lighten a stangs would be a aluminum flywheel?

You're fucking retarded Jeff. If you can't push the stock clutch in on a Mustang go buy a fucking Honda. I never called a name by the way, I said you were pmpous and arrogant acting. Read what I posted.

Also, my clutch works just fine. It's what happens when you buy shitty products Jeff. Last time I checked you were the one with a TOB problem after owning the car for 200 miles.

Flywheel weight has nothing to do with pedal pressure.

just a heads up. DON"T get the upr 3 clutch quadrent. It has caused mt 3 clutch cables so far. If it wasen't such a pain in the ass to remove the whole pedal assembely, then the stock one would be back in there.
You don't have to remove the clutch pedal assy to change a quadrant, unless this is a different quadrant than usual. I guess you could be like 6 foot 280 lbs though, and then I could see where you wouldn't want to be lying on the floor under the dash for too long.

for the love of god man shut up, ill drive circles around u and u know it. i told b4 to stay outa my threads. i can push clutch just fine, i just like to be faster in and out on the clutch and less travel w less pressure will increase it.

...That's not what my time slip says Jeff... Sorry. Was that not you driving the car because I'm pretty sure it was? Or are you gonna show a time slip that somebody else got driving your car that you couldn't?

...It was 49 degrees outside with a poorly prepped track. Ask drgnracn or BWAL09, they were there. Also, my car only had a midpipe, with the stock shifter so I don't think that's too bad there bud.

maybe u should add that during this big edgar and i were trying to find wat was up w my tranny. been back and have run better then that. Took it in the heat and adjusted the times were 13.9s but i dont whip out slips to be an ass. You are seriously a pitiful person. My car is now consistent everytime, thats all that matters to me. And a straight line isnt the only way to drive. I could have a tune and sc sitting on the car right now, but i choose not to so car stays reliable. U make this an arguement when ur wrong and just dont stop even after people ignore you and have information to prove you wrong. Honestly u can think im pompous and arrogant all you want. Tomorrow ill wake up happy w my life happy to drive my car and not think about u thinkin im arrogant. I hope eventually u can realize startin drama is really not worth it. Guys that actually Chimed in and helped Thank you and ill let you know what happens wen the parts are here.

whatever dude. Adjusted times don't mean shit and ever single person on here will say that. It' doesn't bother me either way because my car ran consistant 14.1's back with the stock shifter and all.

It also blows my mind that you can sit here and act like you're a person my size, but as soon as you get around me in person (like at the movies a few weeks ago) you're quiet and don't say a word and run away from me, but as soon as you have your little body guard you're like a chiwawa on a leash after some squirrels. Doesn't seem like I'm the one with the problem.

Anyway, I hate the feel of the rx-8 clutches, I dont' like them that light. I personally like the heavier one my gt has, that's just me, I couldn't tell you how to lighten it at all, I just know I prefer it the way it is.
