Ive never used them but just like scott said I have *heard* quite a few bad things about them ranging from something simple to breaking when going down the road.

i would say so...for a wider look is what i am guessing you want....maybe get 17x10.5 rims with 315s?

Look like one of those low rider trucks with the tires sticking out 10 inches haha kidding, But I have heard the same. Unless running a big tire and need clearance I dont see any benefit from it.

or run a 18 by 10.5 and run that 345 tire

yea i kinda like the stock GT wheels but AM has 18x9 versions with a deep dish

I have some on my rears. they add a great look from stock. they are only like half inch spacers. very simple. very cheap. think they cost me like 20 bucks but i love the difference

I run 1/2" spacers, but would not have done it without longer/stronger lug-bolts

I would NOT run anything wider myself, as I think this introduces some issues mentioned above.
