I'd say go with March. And i dont reccomend removing power steering, but you can get a shorter belt and bypass your AC during the winter. Most people call it running a short belt. Im not exactly sure how to do it on a 99-04 GT although..

Re: question about pulleys

I have Motoblue it was cheap got it off rpmoutlet, it came with harmonic balancer, alternator, and waterpump pulleys. I could tell a very small difference in acceleration at my top end and a small MPG (highway only)gain which was an extra 15miles on a full tank of gas before the light came on. Ofcoarse there could be a hundred different variables a dozen people might mention why i came out with 15 more miles on my tank.

i would only recommend steeda since they are not piggyback style which means you are not bolting your stock crank pulley to the underdrive, the steeda ones have there own balanced crank pulley.

steeda are the best ones out there. i wouldn't use any others b/c i have heard of many problems with them. if you are going to do pulleys, i would stick with the good ones even if they are pretty pricey. steeda is the way to go

They aren't that pricey. 50Resto sells the steeda kit for $179.00 + shipping so not that bad for the best. I recommend steeda as well.

upgraded pully's are alright. but for 200 bucks its not much HP at all or worth it in my opinion. Because if you ever upgrade to some type of blower you have to go back to original.

Pullies serve more purposes than HP gain they give you slightly better gas mileage and take stain off of some of your engine parts making them last longer. Besides they are a stepping stone to a higher goal.

ya it dont add hp either. they just free up more hp off your engine senden more HP to your weels. Same dealio with taking out your A/C and or getting an electric waterpump or performance alternator. They all just free up some HP.
If your plannen on putten any kinda blower on its a waist of money as they said above.

steeda's are the way to go i already know this. But if you ever plan on putting a blower they are useless because you will have to take them right back off and put on the old ones. Now if you want to stay N/A then i would definatly put steeda's on there.

Well I guess the question becomes, do you plan on putting on a blower in the next few years? Even if the answer is yes they resell on ebay for like $30 less than cost, especially if you get Steeda. So two or so years of use for a $30 loss. It's up to you. I've been out bid a few times on some Steeda pullies. I have to win at least one auction before spring. LOL

March offers both the piggy back and the crank/dampener. The engine is internally balanced so its not really a balancer that your getting its just a dampener.

I bought the March piggyback kit from summit but im considering returning it for the better march kit. i dont like the idea of having my old crank on there. its ghetto but the price difference isnt too bad. i paid $147 and free shipping the one with the dampener is 201...

just dont feel like going through the return process.
