Update on the motor build guys.

Went out today, figured out that one of the ac lines got melted on the header causing the erruption. No biggy, i'll worry about replacing that line later down the road.

So i moved the line away from the header, and secured it there. Then i filled the tranny up with fluid and fired her up. I let it sit and idle for about 30 min watching the temps, and everything else. Nothing came one, so i decided to take it for a cruise. Car runs fine, clutch is a lil jumpy, i just need to replace the stock cable and quadrant with the steeda one (im ordering first thing tomorrow morning)

Then after an hour of slow cruises my check engine light came on, p1506 which is idle speed yada yada yada... my idle is set quite a bit high right now, but i've turned it down, it idles at around 700 rpm, cant go much lower then that or it starts chugging.

Now for those of you who just read all of that, heres a little gift for ya

i adjusted the set screw on the throttle body, it was screwed way out holding the butterfly open. then i used the sct tuner to reduce the idle rpm down a wee bit. once its tuned i'd like it to be around 600-650 rpm. but the 700 sounds sick as well haha

mine idles around 1k? weird, mine is blown though so my tuner may have made it idle a little bit higher.
