Ok my 2004 Gt is mainly stock. Would a 78mm throttle body hurt me more then help?

you dont need it until your not getting enough through your other TB...i dont really think thats too large to hurt anything tho..

most people are gonna stay stick with a 70mm....dont think it will really "hurt" it tho if u go with a 78mm

i mean ive heard alot of mixed reviews on BBK products but thats just in my experiences..i have never owned one...if it were me and i had to have the tb i would go with accufab just because i know that they produce quality products..yeah its more expensive too but you get what you pay for is probably true in these circumstances

.....youre not going to be able to tell much in 1/4 miles runs there are too many variables which is why the parts are dyno tested instead of using 1/4 mile runs..especially when were talking about something like a tb

I still have my stocker, but am getting close to needing one. I have looked into the bbk 78mm, and i actually like it alot. and why buy a TB/plenum setup that does the same thing but is shiny? I know ppl will rep accufab and I likethe looks too, but the price of the bbk's, and pp's catch my eye a lil more.

Holy old thread batman. personaly im gonna go with the trick flow 75mm and plenum. just about the same price and it says trick flow on it as for your question i can't see it hurting any. kinda like a cai its supposed to give you a little better mpg. at the end of the day tho it's your right foot that's gonna tell the story not your intake.

Intakes don't do squat....maybe 1-2 more horsepower over a high flow drop in.
