What could cause this?(Pic Inside)


I have Mahle forged pistons but dont understand what cause this.Was running a supercharger. Can somebody help me out? Sorry pics are blurry.

wow wtf looks like a bearing failing and shot something up. find anything in the oilpan ?

The bearings are good. Yea I found pieces of the piston or it coulve been something else.

It has some chips on them. Dont know if I can still use them. The cylinder has a scratch that I can feel.

forged pistons are strong, but not indestructable.

Not the smartest guy out there, but could it have been a stuck valve? Figure the valve would be a lot more jacked up. Help me out here.

Ill try to take some pics tomorrow of the valves.

it's hard to tell from the picture but it looks like extreme combustion due to stuck-up valves

I don't quite think it would be the valves but it looks and sounds like something def ended up in the cylinder. But damn.

It used to be parked there for a long time but took it home,I think I saw your car there b4.

Due to detonation, the ring more than likely broke causing the damage to the piston. I have a Cobra sitting here with the same problem. His car ran way lean because of a vacuum leak. Now building him a new forged block.
