the gt500 weighs about 580 lbs more than the other stangs. a while back in a mustang mag. they compared the terminator vs the condor (gt500). with all of the same mods the gt500 was running like 11.1 where the terminator was runnin like 12.2 i think.

as far as a daily driver goes, it doesnt get any better than a terminator.. as far as a "buy it, put it up, never drive it for 40 years" car goes, it doesnt get any better than a GT500

Collector car or not, the '07 Shelby GT500 out of the box will be a force to be reckoned with at the street light and on the racetrack. not true, at all prove it
the best times ive seen for a stock terminator are 12.5
for a GT-500 ive only seen 12.8 and 13s from this article. 12.8 from car and driver. 11.1 lol the GT-500 will not see that timeslip stock

lol and how can you say the car runs 11.1 when they claim there the first to make it into the 11s 10s and 9s lol wats if it did 11s then stock then thats not much an accomplishment at all
just dont say anythin cuz your wrong on both cars


and YES THE car has been driven down the track. it runs high 12s low 13s
car and driver got 12.8 and this guy from "Mustangs & fast fords" ran 13s. im pretty sure they wouldnt lie to make the car look bad in a mustang magazine.

this had to be stated way before test runs

cuz the march 2007 issue proves that wrong

plus a full bolt on terminator with an upgraded pulley i bet will run better times then a GT-500 and it'll see either really low 11s or 10s
the terminator can reach 450-500hp with out much mods. a pulley and full exhaust witha tune will do wonders

I never said either of the cars were stock. that same 5.0 mustang & superfords mag gives the times of both of the cars when they were done. and the difference in power all the way through the rpm. what i was saying is that the gt500 ran like a second faster than the terminator with the same mods on it. its not like the spent an extra $20,000 or anything. it was small mods. mostly bolt on crap. and gears and drag radials. they never ran slicks on it. in the article it said if they could get full traction it would run in the 10's with just the mods they did to it. im more a of a fan of the terminator because i think the new body style is way over rated. but if it puts out more power then you have to give the props.

well i read another article in the same magazine where they have an almost full bolt on GT-500 doin mid 11s. (with 4.10s or 4.30s i believE)
