To supercharge or not?
I have a 2000 mustang gt with 50k miles on it and i was considering supercharging my mustang. Is there any reason why you should not supercharge a car with 50K miles on it? Thanks in advance.

I agree with B0B I had 70000 miles on my car when I installed my novi 2000 and intercooler and iI've yet to have any problems but I would suggest getting it tuned or it will go BOOM!!

That is true, the tune will make it last and fun. What kind are you planning on getting? I am running 12psi on my vortech with built engine and I am making 508 to the wheels and its a blast....

i put mine on around 50k miles. so long as the car is well taken care of it shouldn't be an issue so long as you do the basics, injectors, maf, fuel delivery, tune, etc...that and if you beat the hell out of it all the time when it isn't warm and all that, you'll have some problems. but i wouldn't hesitate to put a blower on a car with 50k miles.

Wow. That's a low mileage 2000 GT. I put my supercharger on at 80,000 miles. My car currently has 120,000 miles on it. You need a good tune and don't get greedy on a stock motor.
