Its a sad sad day...
So I hate to say it, but im 99.9% sure I'm done doing anything more to my car. I scraped my rim on a pothole today and in this piece of shit city out of 1000 claims made in 2007, 85% of those were denied so I highly doubt ill get reimbursed for any damage. after spending $3000 on my rims (tires, rim, powdercoating) im just..done.
If anyone has any inspiring words i could really use em now.

May not be too inspiring as far as continuing on blowing money on your car but that really sucks. Ive had a hell of a day myself which I wont elaborate on and I wish you the best with your situation. In all honesty I would have never started modding my car but at this point im just like yea whatever, may as well throw this or that on it.

yeah, id love living in the states for that reason alone. ALOT of shit is cheap down there. you guys would have paid half the price i do for the rims i got and tires, but the way shipping and shit goes.. i just ended up paying that much which is why mods to my car are going so slow. just all that money and work and this city does nothing about it, and fucks it up

I hate to hear it bro, but keep on keepin on, or you will grow weary of the car and get bored with it. Thats what keeps me interested in my car, modding.

I'm starting to get bored of my car too. But then I rode shotgun in my car with my dad driving. And I remembered how badass my car is. You'll come around.

Agreed - I was getting pretty down on the Cobra and wanting to get into sportbikes, but after autocross yesterday I'm down for more money into the car, hahaha.

3 grand is a lot to spend on rims and tires.
That is all.

You'll buy somethin else put it on and be excited all over again and realize why you have a mustang. I did it too but after gettin this car I'm glad this is what I love.
3k isn't too much for that either, maybe to some who don't have as much to spend. But if they are good rims and good tires then sometimes it's worth it

Yeah, on a budget 3k seems like a lot but its really not that much. Good quality tires are $250-$300 per corner and a good set of rims is easily 2k. It just costs a lot to get a wide tire that is made by a good company and looks good. To get a good set of BBS rims for our cars that are 18"x10" is easily that much.
Is your claim to the city or to your insurance. Some times its easier to go through your insurance and have them deal with the city.

being up in canada i know what you are feeling. it takes a hell of alot of time and money to mod our cars and ive thought about selling my car as well. But once i do something new to it, i love the car all over again. I does take a bit to save up for the new part but once it is on it makes the wait worth it, especially when u get compliments
