weird idle.
so everytime i turn on my heat/ac the car idles fucking stupid, it goes up and then pretty much dies, and then back and forth, ive checked my IAC a billion times and its as clean as a whistle, so what else can it be? i set my idle with my tuner but it still goes fuckin weird everytime i turn on my defrost/heat/etc.

its not my coilpacks, its not missing. it just idles like crazy going from 900-1200 back down to 500 and almost dieing, only when the heat/ac is on though

have you checked the throttle plate and inside the plenum? maybe its kruddy

not for a while, i threw some tb cleaner in there and shit came out, but it really didnt make a difference.

when you turn on the ac or defrost your IAC will compensate and bump the idle... chances are its failing and you can't see by just looking at it. my brothers stang did this same thing and we replaced the IAC and it fixed it. watch out though, they're like 90 bucks..
