ok so a hood that you buy off line that says its a "bolt on" what exactly does that mean???

It's a direct swap. Aka it'll "bolt-on" to your stock hood mounting locations.

That wasnt a dumb question. This question probably helped someone else who was wondering the same thing but were to scared to ask. Also lefty is correct.

yeah, I would think it means you do NOT have to drill holes... They are already there with threaded inserts.

You would want to find out if it has the strike plate for the latch. It should, just make sure.

keep in mind thought that most fiberglass ones wont fit directly and may require some customizing to fit properly
