What front bumper?

Hey guys, i talked with the local paint shop today. I've decided once i get my car dyno tuned and running right im going to start investing money into the appearance of the car.

Im doing this because the previous owner hit something, and broke the front bumper mount on one side, and it cracked the front bumper (they firberglass patched it and painted over)

And now i've got like half a dozen chips that are just popping off of my car (it looks to me, and to my painter as tho they didnt prepair the hood correctly) and he said most likely it isnt the original hood, im not sure if this is true or not.

So i've decided to have the car repainted, their going to sand the clear down, and re-clear the entire car. Apply the new front bumper, and repaint the hood. I've decided to go with the original true blue, but add ghost flames up the hood and out of the hood cowl.

So my question is what front bumper goes best the new edge?
Cobra R
Roush stage 3
im open to all options. and would love links to good views of the car..

personaly i like the look of the 03/04 cobra, but its used way to much. i like either the 99/01 cobra front or the 2000 cobra r

I am not a fan of the 2000 Cobra R front bumper.

FYI in you get the front bumper of the Cobra R prob need the spoiler. the car was made all around itself. meaning that lip with push down on your front and that will = less traction in the back. so I have been told by someone friend who had it

I have always like the Roush bumper, because I don't see too many of them. I also like the 99/01 and 03/04 Cobra bumpers as well.

03/04 cobra. Compared to the GT bumper, in my opinion, it's more agressive/clean looking due to the fog light placement and being ~2" lower, smoother lines and not having the frown.

If you decide to get a 03 cobra bumper get the side skirts too. The GT lines and the Cobra lines are different. Cobras look best sitting parallel to the ground because of the smooth straight lines; where as GTs look better with a rake because of the "sky slope" style front end. Mustang GTs kinda look like a boat from the side without a chin spoiler.

I've become more and more into the gt bumper rather than the 03 cobra bumper. With a good drop, the gt front bumper looks really good. If I was going to change though, it'd be for a 99 cobra bumper.

I love my 03/04 bumper! Just order the chin spoiler and the fog light kit from 50resto! My 2000 Cobra R bumper was way to low, (2 inch Drop) so it scraped on everything. when i spun out on a turn (Hit some black ice) only going 1-15 mph, i ended up on the grass, yup folded the bumper right in. So i went with the 03-04 cobra bumper and actually like it better. so clean!

Just check the forums and local sites like craigslist.. I picked mine up for $100 with fogs and bezels and it was in great shape.. But i got extremely lucky but i needed the money so i had to sell it..

I really like the roush stage 3 front end, but i also LOVE the 03/04 cobra, not so much on the 01 cobra.

I like the idea of the roush beause then people cant say posing as a cobra.
