Low oil pressure at start up??

When I start the car up I can hear a lil ticking for 15-20 seconds or so and my oil pressure gauge shows like 90psi cold. This started happening after my oil change this weekend. I double checked and the oil is 5w-20. The motor is brand new with a brand new cobra oil pump. It was running just fine before the oil change. Im lost as to what it could be.

Actually my car does a similar thing now. Not sure if its the weight of the oil or what. But when I first start my car it does that ticking for about 4 seconds then stops, just during the initial vrooom, then it goes away. I figured it was just oil not reaching the top end yet

I run a motorcraft filter with motor craft oil, and it still does it at startup, only for a few seconds though

Regular 5-20. And no it hasn't... Don't know what changed. Only within the last few months I'd say.

Your issue sounds more like a oil pump problem. Mine is brand new so it should be ok.
