Id wait down the road after you get the s/c on, if you get it, then go for the internals, just so you dont mess anything up. As long as you take care of it, and use the s/c smartly, there shouldnt be too much problem.

procharger explains intercooling here if you wanna skim through it.

Centrifigual s/c of course, but basically same for all, keeps air cooler thats going in
