4.30,s in a automatic

right now i have 4.10,s in my auto i like them but are 4.30,s better my car isnt a daily driver im really thinking of giving them a try give me some opinions on what you think

Well are you going to use it a lot at the track? thats a lot of gear, but shouldnt be too bad if its not a dd

if i were in an auto, i would be running 4.30's in it.

Now not an auto, but I just put in 4:10's, and if it wasn't my daily........4:30's-4:56's even would be going in.

My buddy had 4.30s in his dd and loved them to death, but had to change them out because he said he wasnt getting but 8 mpg.

I wish i got 4:30. I kind of regret 4:10's. Oh well, im not going in reverse.

i was really close to get 4:30s man. but with o/d off I top out at 112 and 6,200rpms. With is one 130's prob. I only drive mine on the weekends too. Idk I LOVE my 4:10s too. 4:30s with tall tire walls would be bad

Going to need some 28" Tires for that. I say 430s are fine for all motor, for nitrous stick with the 410s.

my plans for my car is stage 1 cam and a zex wet kit , tf or bbk intake manifold and maybe 4.30,s i getting ready this year to go to the track next year

depends on tires u will top out at 100 or lower with 4:30 with o/d off

you would have to run a slick. . . . or i would at least. your not going to have enough top end to stay out of o/d unless you try to rev it out to 7200 rpms. . .

with 4.10's & 26" tall tire's you'll go across at about 6k (1/4 mi. 3rd gear) 4.30's are out of the question if you don't have the valve train to support it as stock you'll stop pulling at about 5600 & you'll be spinning the motor for nothing with the 4.30's. with a built top end might be something to consider (I have)

I have 4.10s and am thinking of going to 3.55s
But then again im Blown and Probably not Going to Rev to 6k.
So when deciding on Gears alot of other things come into play then just the Gears
