Springs

Does anyone have the TEIN lowering springs on their car?
Drop-- 2.5" in front-- 2.3" in the rear
spring rate --537 in front and 269 in the rear

Is this going to make my car to low etc.

Wow! They completely ignored your question. LOL I've never tried those springs, so I can't comment on thier quality. As far as them making your car too low, I guess it all depends on what look you are going for. I live in NYS so I would never lower my car that low. It's the pot hole capital of the world up here. If you have long tube headers you may think twice about lowering your car that much. Long tubes can make some exhaust systems occasionally scrape on lowered cars. Also know with those springs your are going to feel every crack, pebble and bump in the road.

Sheet, I'd envy a nice 240 Z. A friend of mine got one when he turned 14 or 15. Him and his dad restored it. Silver car with a black interior. It wasn't fast even then but an oh-so-schweet ride.

Back when, that was a hot car to drop a SBC in and they ran like crazy.

About.........15 years ago??? - has it been that long??? I had a guy build a 350 for me. I'd go by his shop to check the progress but I'd always end up drooling over his car more than mine. He'd built a drag motor (350 Chevy) and dropped it in a 240Z. Back then it was common and made for an especially vicious combination. I saw one once that had a 427 in it. Approaching AC Cobra territory...
