Im not looking for a vette killer, just a mild 375HP or so, i dont want to push my car.
My friend has a kenne bell on his, but he bought it that way so idk whats involved. I want to know what it will take to get it on my car for a mild tune, with minimal boost, of maybe 8-10lbs. nothing major. idk if im asking the right questions, thats why im asking here. lol i was thinking the eaton because its not very powerful, cheap, and i could run it without hurting anything. |

just make sure you upgrade the fuel system. pumps and injectors. and get a good tune. other than that i think kb comes with everything you need even a chip with a canned tune to get you around

injectors and pump depends on the power you want, anything above stock will be an improvement

If he stays at 9 psi he wont need a fuel pump because the KB comes with the BAP and will feed it fine. If you up it to 12-14 you will need to upgrade to either the GT supercar pump, SVT focus pump, or the cobra set up. The KB kit comes with everything you will need to hit the road for the level of kit you buy. It will bolt right up to your 4.6 with the intake manifold that is part of the kit. I have instaled a number of blowers on friends mustangs and by far KB is the most complete and reliable. Just my opinion though
![]() EDIT: here is what the 2.1 comes with and some optional parts that I would recomend getting: MAJOR KENNE BELL KIT COMPONENTS Billet BIG BORE Twin Screw 2.1L Supercharger Hi-Flo Inlet Manifolds Billet Bypass Valve Assembly Bar and Plate Intercooler ("Intercooled" kit only) HD Heat Exchanger ("Intercooled" kit only) Intercooler Pump ("Intercooled" kit only) Water Fill Reservoir ("Intercooled" kit only) Re-calibrated Mono Chip 36lb Injectors BOOST-A-PUMP™ Fuel Rails ('96-'00) 160° Calibrated Thermostat Kenne Bell BOOST-A-SPARK™ (Best Ford 4.6 ignition. Recommended after 10 psi) Kenne Bell 90mm Meter & Chip (up to 13HP over stock meter) Kenne Bell 75mm Throttle Body & "Big Tube" Kit (18HP over stock) Kenne Bell Cool Air Kit (up to 13HP)

Here's my advice
1) Buy a complete KB setup 2) Install it 3) Post videos of you ripping up the street so I can drool over them ![]() Seriously though, a KB is an awesome setup. If wouldn't have stumbled onto such a good deal on my Procharger, I was gonna save up and get a 2.1 or 2.4 Kenne Bell |
